initially patterned after a vintage men's 5-pocket jean, cass mimics the squared-off mid-rise with a relaxed top block of a vintage jean, while extending down into an easy, tapered leg. 

in many ways cass is versatile to a degree that our other jeans haven’t always been -- it truly communicates the same feeling regardless of who's wearing it: nostalgic, but timeless.

How To Measure

first thing's first, grab a pair of your favorite pants that have a similar rise. find a measuring tape and a flat surface to measure on. be sure to lay your pants flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove any slack. compare the measurements to the chart below.

waist

the circumference of the waistband, along the top edge.

hip

the width at the bottom of the J stitch, straight across. double the flat measurement.

Front rise

the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.

thigh

starting 1” below the crotch seam, the width of the leg perpendicular to the outer seam. double the flat measurement.

leg opening

the width of the opening at the bottom of the leg. double the flat measurement.

inseam

following the inside-leg seam, the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

cass feels like the perfect pair of vintage men’s jeans that we all have been searching for high and low at the flea market -- familiar and nostalgic.

my i+w size is 25, and these fit true to size. cass has an easy and relaxed hip, so from day one it was an easy and comfortable wear. in my personal experience there wasn’t much growth throughout the wear because the top block is already very generous.

although cass is a lower rise than I would typically reach for, but the lower rise and extra room in the hip made things feel more comfortable and accessible. they worked for me with a simple tee or button down with an easy sneaker, or over a boot to dress her up.
