amelia began its life as a slightly tweaked version of a pant we already knew and loved...but when the fit came out a little different than we had expected, it quickly turned into a wildly flattering new fit we were all smitten by.

featuring a moderate high rise, an accommodating but fitted top block, and a straight leg with slight taper, amelia reflects the mission we’ve had from the very beginning: to create timeless styles that are flattering, comfortable, and versatile.

How To Measure

first thing's first, grab a pair of your favorite pants that have a similar rise. find a measuring tape and a flat surface to measure on. be sure to lay your pants flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove any slack. compare the measurements to the chart below.

waist

the circumference of the waistband, along the top edge.

hip

the width at the bottom of the J stitch, straight across. double the flat measurement.

Front rise

the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.

thigh

starting 1” below the crotch seam, the width of the leg perpendicular to the outer seam. double the flat measurement.

leg opening

the width of the opening at the bottom of the leg. double the flat measurement.

inseam

following the inside-leg seam, the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

wearing these amelias has been incredibly easy. i could wear them with pretty much anything in my closet and every outfit felt put together. the waist and rise hit at the ideal spot, and the leg shape is the perfect straight that goes with any shoe.

i'm typically between a 26 or 27, depending on the style. i went with a 26 and found these to be true to size. it was great going on the smaller end of sizing since this is a rigid style, but after just a few days, they relaxed to that ideal, slight bit of room you want in your everyday jeans.

these are the jeans i've been waiting years for, and i can already tell they'll be my go-to for any occasion.
