when we set out to release a new denim fit, it's imperative to us that it conveys a feeling, and more than that, is something that sets itself apart from the rest of our offering.

featuring a true mid rise and an easy, open leg, edie is in many ways an unexpected combination for us. the top block is intentionally accommodating, sitting on your hips and effortlessly extending into a full, straight leg.

How To Measure

first thing's first, grab a pair of your favorite pants that have a similar rise. find a measuring tape and a flat surface to measure on. be sure to lay your pants flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove any slack. compare the measurements to the chart above.

waist

the circumference of the waistband, along the top edge.

hip

the width at the bottom of the J stitch, straight across. double the flat measurement.

Front rise

the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.

thigh

starting 1” below the crotch seam, the width of the leg perpendicular to the outer seam. double the flat measurement.

leg opening

the width of the opening at the bottom of the leg. double the flat measurement.

inseam

following the inside-leg seam, the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.

my dream jeans. a classic dark rinse in my favorite denim fit we offer, so naturally, my experience with these was incredible. they were super easy to wear, softened up after just a few wears, and are exactly what my closet was missing.

my typical size in our denim is a 24 and i stayed true to size in a 24 here as well! they were a bit snug to start, but after just a few wears they softened up and relaxed at any points of tension to a super comfy fit.

i got a hem on mine at 28” - long enough to wear with a heel, cuff for a pop of selvage, or leave long for some great stacking + a more effortless look -- the relaxed leg and lower rise was so great for my shorter torso, and i will be wearing the hell out of these for years to come.
