using a retired jacket body from the crescent archives, this pairing of fit and fabric is about as close to perfect as it gets.

taking the opportunity to collaborate with an icon in the history of American textiles, we worked closely with our friends at American Woolen Company to develop this wool blanket fabric for the outer portion, that was then paired with a wind-resistant streakfree nylon liner, and finished off with a wool/nylon rib.

extremely limited release of 5 pieces.

( a brief history )

Crescent Down Works

in 1974, after years of working in Eddie Bauer's first-ever down testing laboratory, Anne Michelson decided to found Crescent Down Works, where she began producing vests and parkas to order in her own small shop located in Seattle's University District.

today, nearly 50 years later, the small team at Crescent Down Works continues to make every single piece in-house, from pattern to finished garment, under one roof in their Seattle factory now run by Anne's daughter, Annie.

every jacket and vest they make is a classic Northwest outerwear design, insulated with ethically sourced high-grade down, and paired with traditional fabrics that offer the perfect combination of durability and performance.
