as you may know, we have a little project called “kill your jeans (with kindness)”, where we reclaim old i+w jeans that our customers have put to their paces. some we are able to give a unique second life. others, however, go into our ever-evolving archive of inspiration.
this is where barton slim adler began.
the distressing and fading left of one person's journey informs the starting point of another’s. light-medium blue in shade, it has a 1970s-era cast. it was abraded by hand, precisely emulating a jean that has been worn for years. like all great things, it is the result of time and circumstance.
barton slim has a 10" rise with a modern, slim 15" leg opening. adler is running true to size, go ahead and order as you normally would.
each pair is patterned, cut, and sewn in the USA
from 13.25oz premium Cone Mills denim.

HOW WE MEASURE
first off, grab a pair of your favorite jeans a measuring tape, and find a flat surface to measure on. lay your jeans out flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove all slack. note: double each measurement (except inseam and rise) to correspond with the chart below.

front rise: the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front of waistband, above the button.
thigh: starting 1” below the crotch seam, the width of the leg.
