taking notes from a handmade vintage blanket coat we stumbled upon, each jacket is patterned, cut and sewn from a 13oz wool blend blanket fabric, made exclusively for i+w in collaboration with American Woolen.

founded in 1899 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, American Woolen Company is one of only remaining US mills producing high quality woolen cloth, remaining steadfast and dedicated to restoring ethical manufacturing to the United States.

How To Measure

first off, grab a similar shirt, a measuring tape, and find a flat surface to measure on. lay the shirt out flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove all slack.

length

the length from where the shoulder meets neck, straight down to the bottom of the hem, measured on the front of the garment.

shoulder

the width from shoulder point to shoulder point, straight across.

chest

the width of chest, 1" below the armhole.

sleeve

the length along the top of the sleeve from shoulder point to bottom of cuff.

neck

the width of neck opening from seam to seam, where the collar meets the shoulder, straight across.
