originally inspired by a 1950’s military-issue classic, the fatigue short is a recreation of a i+w warm weather staple, sewn from a lightweight 8oz, 100% cotton ripstop fabric.

featuring front panel pockets and details informed by a pair of vintage WWII-era fatigues, we wanted this short to be shorter, lighter, and more accommodating than our shorts that preceded it... exactly what we want to be wearing during the warmer days ahead. 

patterned, cut, and sewn in the USA from an 8oz ripstop fabric.

How To Measure

first thing's first, grab a pair of your favorite pants that have a similar rise. find a measuring tape and a flat surface to measure on. be sure to lay your pants flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove any slack. compare the measurements to the chart below.

waist

the circumference of the waistband, along the top edge.

hip

the width at the bottom of the J stitch, straight across. double the flat measurement.

Front rise

the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.

thigh

starting 1” below the crotch seam, the width of the leg perpendicular to the outer seam. double the flat measurement.

leg opening

the width of the opening at the bottom of the leg. double the flat measurement.

inseam

following the inside-leg seam, the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
