los angeles, we love you.

los angeles has been, and will always be, a city that we have a deep connection to.  many of the folks in our nashville crew have lived there and our entire sewing room team lives in LA -- the team that may be the single most important part of how we operate.

every single piece of clothing we make passes through their hands, working directly with hundreds of different folks throughout the city, with every single one of them making it possible for i+w to be what it is.

in many ways, most of what we make could simply say "made in LA" instead of "made in the USA."

a lot of folks may not know this, but there were even a few years when we moved our entire headquarters out to los angeles -- we did this because it is one of the only places left in the USA with a real infrastructure for making clothes the right way. we learned a lot from that time, built incredible bonds, formed lasting relationships, and owe so much to our time there.

but our connection with the city is so much greater than our time and our people there. it’s hard to put into words.

and when something so devastating has happened, we hear from our friends who have lost businesses, homes, and everything they own, and all we can do is ask ourselves: "what do we do to help? what can we do?"

the money raised from these t-shirts will be donated to a handful of major relief organizations, but we will also be seeking out businesses, families, and individuals to help directly.

 if you or someone you know has been directly affected, please, don’t hesitate to contact us. we are putting aside hundreds of pieces of i+w clothing with the specific purpose of giving clothes to folks who need to rebuild.

it’s our goal to continue to do everything we can to help the folks who have been affected by these fires, and for us, this is only the first step.
