pursuing a natural jean with a bit more dimension, we hand-applied the tint to the under-side of the fabric, allowing for more variation in shade to push through to the exterior of the jean -- resulting in a subtle, varied wash that evokes the feeling of a garment that has been well-loved for years.

utilizing a high rise and an open, accommodating leg, we paired this iteration with a lightweight Japanese denim, then finished things off with rivet details and a buckleback waist.

How To Measure

first thing's first, grab a pair of your favorite pants that have a similar rise. find a measuring tape and a flat surface to measure on. be sure to lay your pants flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove any slack. compare the measurements to the chart above.

notes:

i fell in love with these the first time i put them on and the feelings haven't changed much, even after wearing them 6 days in a row. they feel like the jeans i want my grandfather's jeans to look like and feel on, but with a waist i actually want to wear without having to use a belt every time.

my typical i+w size is a 26 and i feel like these are true to size with a relaxed fit -- but you could size down if you want the top to be more fitted. i was even able to utilize the buckle in the back as the fabric grew a bit which was helpful. the roomy hip and thighs are so comfortable and i've loved how structured the fabric is which has helped keep the leg shape how i've wanted.

wearing these bucklebacks has been extremely easy -- keeping them casual for work has been fun, but i still felt like i could dress them up to go out for dinner instead of wearing your everyday basic 5 pocket jean.
