hip
the width at the bottom of the J stitch, straight across. double the flat measurement.

the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.

starting 1β below the crotch seam, the width of the leg perpendicular to the outer seam. double the flat measurement.
leg opening
the width of the opening at the bottom of the leg. double the flat measurement.
inseam
following the inside-leg seam, the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
