close to 13 years ago, before we even had a website to sell our jeans on, we made this version of willie for the first time. with it being our first experiment with waxed canvas, we only made 25 pairs.

since then, it's been sitting in our archives, and every time we pass by it, we've thought "damn. it's just so good." so, we brought it back to life -- this time in a killer, 100% cotton waxed canvas.

willie sits above the hips and is straight through the thigh and knee.

How To Measure

first thing's first, grab a pair of your favorite pants that have a similar rise. find a measuring tape and a flat surface to measure on. be sure to lay your pants flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove any slack. compare the measurements to the chart below.

waist

the circumference of the waistband, along the top edge.

hip

the width at the bottom of the J stitch, straight across. double the flat measurement.

Front rise

the length from the bottom of the crotch seam to the top edge of the front waistband.

thigh

starting 1” below the crotch seam, the width of the leg perpendicular to the outer seam. double the flat measurement.

leg opening

the width of the opening at the bottom of the leg. double the flat measurement.

inseam

following the inside-leg seam, the length from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
