About the opportunity:

We are looking for another graphic designer to join our creative team that tirelessly produces ideas for our graphic apparel. Someone who brings passion, energy, and a shared belief in the brand. Reporting to the Creative Director and working closely with the digital team, design/development, & company leadership, they will help create and develop artwork for t-shirts, accessories, and other apparel, in addition to print, digital, and related categories - working from initial ideation and concept to finished product.

Please note this is an on-site role based in Nashville, TN. 

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll be producing quality graphics for apparel, accessories, sew-in labels, hang-tags and occasionally supplying print/digital graphics for event promotion. (Flyers, posters, digital posts, etc.)
• Designers are expected to maintain a strong pulse on graphic design trends, but more important than what’s trending: we expect our designers to develop an intrinsic understanding of our brand and its vintage influences.
• We HIGHLY encourage our creative team to get off the computer and experiment with applications in the creation process: cut and paste, spray paint, acrylic paint, plain old drawing and scanning etc.

Who we’re looking for:

• We’re looking for a creative problem solver with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• We’re looking for someone who understands that in a fast-paced environment, you can’t get too attached to your designs.
• Someone who can manage multiple projects at once, with consideration that priorities shift frequently on tight timelines.
• Someone who can communicate with leadership, our production team, our in-house screen printer, and others - to present concept decks and ideas.
• We’re looking for someone who is confident, but willing to constantly grow and push boundaries with us.

What you’ll need:

• Basic Illustration/drawing skills are not required but a HUGE plus.
• At least 5 years of professional graphic design experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required. 
• BFA+ education is a plus, but where and if you went to school for design doesn’t matter nearly as much as your portfolio.
• Must have the ability to multitask, take direction, and fulfill multiple project requests while meeting deadlines
• Must be able to work fast under pressure.
• Experience working at an apparel brand/brands is a huge plus.
