when it comes to denim shorts, most (if not all) of us have been in the same situation at one time or another: taking scissors to a treasured old pair of jeans, cutting off the legs, and... well, hoping for the best.

but, as with most things in life, a truly good denim short has to be built from the ground up, and made with intent from square one.

so, we started from scratch.
