the american woolen camp blanket

a very special collaboration with an icon in the history of American textiles. founded in 1899 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, American Woolen Company was the world's largest wool manufacturer in the early part of the 20th century. today, it is one of the only remaining US mills producing high quality woolen cloth, remaining steadfast and dedicated to restoring ethical manufacturing to the United States.

so when we decided we wanted to pursue making our own blankets, working with them was a no brainer.

each fabric pattern was designed in-house in collaboration with American Woolen, woven in the USA from 100% wool, then finally cut into blankets and finished off with a contrast whipstitch detail.

“winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.”
