in the late 1970s, Alpha Industries was contracted to develop an xx-small size in the traditional M-65 field jacket, which was an effort to have an accommodating option for female soldiers and other service women. taking inspiration from the quilted liners on these pieces, we developed a fit that is specifically designed for women today.
the end result is a one-of-a-kind iteration of a quilted bomber, updated with a modern women’s fit. sewn from a quilted cotton/nylon blend fabric, we used our beloved waffle thermal fabric for the interior lining. featuring antique brass snaps, contrast rib details, and a vertical quilted pattern.

THE HISTORY
for decades, Alpha Industries, produced US-made military-issue garments. until their production moved overseas in the 1990s.
we believe the past doesn't belong in a vault, so together with Alpha Industries we created a collection of 13 limited edition military-inspired pieces.
each garment in this collection has been entirely produced in the USA.
