we teamed up with legendary nashville (and love fades) photographer and musician, joshua black wilkins, to shoot what we hope to be a never-ending series celebrating local and global musicians alike, all united by the shared love of music.
music. it has been at the core of imogene + willie since our doors first opened - before we even sold our first pair of jeans, we hoped to host a gathering of the surrounding community, rooted in our love of music.
hosted mostly in the warmer months, these nights came to be known as supper + song. our backyard soon was filled to the brim. it was a diverse quilt of our family, old friends, and new neighbors – all joined together... listening, eating, laughing.
over the years, our backyard has become a fenced in little paradise, creating a getaway for our neighbors and out-of-town travelers alike… a place to meet, to visit, to eat… to listen to music.
our backyard. a place that encourages inclusiveness, never exclusivity.
W.O. Smith Music School believes in transforming lives through music. they are a Nashville-based charity committed to making affordable, quality music instruction available to children from low-income families.
